Looking for new things to try out for iftar? We have a couple of diy drinks that will help you add variety to your iftar table and also help you beat the hear! (Karachi seems like an oven these days! Sigh!) 

1) Buttermilk 

¼ cup yoghurt 

1 cup water 

Pinch of cumin powder 

Ice cubes 

Mint for garnishing.   


 Blend together and there you have your perfect summer shake!

2) Berry smoothie 

1 ½ cup milk 

1 ½ cup mixed berries 

¾ cup Greek yogurt 

1 tbsp honey 

Ice cubes 

Blend and adjust the honey according to your desired taste.


3) Cardamom milk 

1 cup milk 

2 tbsp cardamom sherbet 

Ice cubes 


Blend and adjust the sweetness with a little honey. You can even a pinch of salt for that added kick. 

4) Rooh Afza Milk 

1 cup milk 

2 tbsp Rooh Afza

1 tsp pre soaked Chia seeds / tukhmalanga

Ice cubes

Mix together and adjust the sweetness.
