Hania Aamir Faces Criticism For Allegedly Harassing A Male Passenger On Snapchat During A Flight
The budding actress had been on her way to Lahore for a promotional event recently and happened to post some videos on her Snapchat as she often does. However, in one particular snap, Hania was trying to include an unknown male passenger seated behind her in the frame of her camera. “This dude is struggling to get out of my photo,” read the caption of the snap.
If this was a man doing it, and a lady as a subject it’d have been rolled out very differently, but here we see @realhaniahehe publicly harassing a mans private space, using her celeb power. It was ignored, because well she’s cute innit? Disgusting stuff. pic.twitter.com/JrIB66kUvh

“Every time I try and take my photo, he’s, like, struggling to get out of it. Wait let’s see!” The starlet then poses and tries to include the stranger in the frame, who is evidently uncomfortable and trying to stay out it. .
This does not end here.
She continues- “Okay, I’m gonna wait. Come on, do it.” And the man very awkwardly turns his face away.
Albeit Hania's intentions may have been otherwise, Twitter seems to very unhappy over her snap. Users have pointed out that she is harassing the innocent passenger.
This is totally not okay. If you want your personal space as a woman, a man needs it too. Such incidents suffocate air for women who actually need help. https://t.co/i1YzyjLoPn

If u’re lucky to be empowered/famous to do as you wish - don’t take adv of tht to harass ppl. I’ve been here, struggling to get out of photos/videos of strangers who made me uncomfortable and frustrated. Women are trying to take small steps fwd, you just took 10 steps back https://t.co/PU4ERDYcm1

The same scenario in role reversal won't be that fun, ma'am. Or if he's at your seat and you're at his, you will call it harassment. https://t.co/yW5Gc9v6Lr

Why is no one talking about this? She is violating his personal space and clearly he’s uncomfortable being in her pictures but instead of stopping she’s enjoying and making fun of it. THIS IS NOT OKAY https://t.co/VSajTGu9d1
