Kareena Kapoor Will Have a Child and Not Let Work Suffer
A beaming Saif announced that he is expecting a child with his wife, Kareena Kapoor according to a statement in Times of India.
"My wife and I would like to announce that we are expecting our first child in December. We would like to thank our well-wishers for their blessings and support and also the press for their discretion and patience," reads the statement.
This will be Kareena’s first child and Saif’s third. Saif has two children, Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan, from his marriage with veteran actress Amrita Singh. Both children, Sara in particular, are believed to share a cordial and healthy relationship with Kareena.
Many noted Bollywood stars have congratulated the couple on the news, however, Saif’s ex-wife has not commented. Saifeena tied the knot in 2012, in a series of grand and highly talked about events after a five-year long relationship.
While doting fans eagerly await the arrival of this beautiful couple’s baby, speculations about how this would affect Kareena’s career are doing the rounds. When asked about Bebo’s interest in conquering the world like Priyanka Chopra, Kareena maintained that she wants to be a married working woman and wants to start a family, further adding fuel to the rumours.
Answering questions regarding Kareena Kapoor’s pregnancy a few months ago, her father, Randhir Kapoor told an entertainment website that he had no knowledge of it but hoped the news was true.
“Well, they have not told me yet, so I have no clue. But I hope it is true. It is high time that they had a baby,” he said.
Congratulations are also in order for Pakistan’s very own Fawad Khan, who is believed to be expecting his second child with wife, Sadaf Khan. The couple already have a son Ayaan, who was born in 2010.
According to rumors, the 34-year old Kapoor & Sons actor will be welcoming his second-born in October and Sadaf is currently in her second trimester.
Fawad Khan, who is currently shooting for Karan Johar’s next movie titled, ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,’ rushed back home from Madrid after the IIFA awards to spend time with his wife and son, as reported by Mumbai Mirror.
